Hey there.
I've got a beat-up squier p-bass i bought from a friend a few years ago. It's nothing amazing, but gets the job done. However, recently, whenever I go to play it all I get is a very loud hum, which cuts out when a string is plucked. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem, and if so, are there any relatively cheap ways to solve it?
