pickup output difference

Hi there,

I have installed a basslines hotstack set to my jazz bass. The bridge pickup has lower output and thin sound. Is it normal?

Thanx

This is normal, as there is less string vibration over the bridge pup.

is it really thin, and does it hum? you might have it wired out of phase, or with one coil off.
