Pickup placement

I am getting a bass body made for me but unsure where the pups should be. Was thinking of getting the bridge pup in the MM "sweetspot" but dunno about the neck pup. Going to be using a pair of Gems from wizard pickups. Any suggestions?

The neck pickup can be anywhere from 5" to 2" from the neck on center. The closer the more lows because the strings will vibate more. It's hard to say where you would want to put it because once you cut the pickup in you may not like it there. look at where I install my second pickup on my p-bass for more bass tone.
