| Pickup and pre upgrade suggestions for my Ibanez GWB35

This is a really nice playing bass, let down by a rather iffy sounding, weedy pickup, and a pretty dodgy preamp.
Boosting the highs on the pre gives quite an unusable treble, and lots of noise.
I'm after something nice and warm sounding, but with a flexible EQ range on the preamp.
I'd prefer if both were a direct replacement for the existing ones.
