I have a 3-4 year old Ibanez 190 that I'm pretty attached to. (present from my wife) It has P/J pickups that are noisy, and I wanted to upgrade, mostly playing folk songs and classic rock. Looking around, the ubiquitous EMGs are available, but I wondered what other options are out there, passive or active.
Also, would replacing pickups necessitate replacing all the pots as well? |
