Pickup replacement on MIM Deluxe Active P-bass Special (P/J)?

I'm in "pimp my bass" mode and wondered just how much of a change I can expect from a new set of P/J pickups in my MIM Deluxe Active P-bass Special? I'm interested in opinions of what brands some of you have changed over to.

Cheers - and happy new year.

There’s a bass mod link in the first paragraph of this thread that may be useful

DIMENTO'S BASIC TROUBLE-SHOOTING GUIDE

Each individual bass is different but in terms of manufacture a bass is a bass IMO.

Thanks luknfur - apologies for not going the sticky path first! I've found Dr Dimento's PJ experiment list too and will go from that.

If anyone has swapped out pickups in the bass I have it'd be great to hear thoughts as well.
