Which pickups?

I'm looking to put new p'ups in my precision knockoff. Recommendations? I'm mainly looking at EMG's because of thier reputation and im looking at Bartolini's because i have heard a lot of good things about Bart's. Help me make my decision, please.

Barts are generally mellow and deep; EMGs tend toward the bright side.

They are both excellet choices. I have both. Both do what they do very well. I would agree with the above poster emg = bighter and bart = mellow. For a Pbass I would prolly do EMG's as the Pbass pup location is a bit darker. But when in doubt I usually go EMG but I am trying to break that habit lol.
