Pickups for 5 string jazz with 17mm spacing

I'd like to build myself a 5 string Jazz bass, because I like tighter spacing on my 5ers. Are there any options besides blades? Who makes good "vintage-sounding" blade p'ups?

My 5-strings SX jazz bass (SJB-62) has a 17mm string spacing, so you could look there insteadof building your own bass. But if you really want to build your own bass, I guess you can check the SX (Essex) threads on the main Bass forum and ask the question to those who own a 5-string SX jazz bass and have changed their pickups.
Or maybe you could buy a used SX and just use its pickups, which IMO are pretty good for the price.

If people have switched, they might have the old pickups to sell.

AFA buying an SX, I am trying to get into building and I also want at least 35" scale on my B.
