| Pickups for a Barker B1

I'm in the process of buying a used Barker B1 without pickups and am interested in suggestions from people who are familiar with these instruments. I like a traditional jazz pickup but since this is a high quality instrument I'd like something good that would complement the natural tone. I play blues, finger funk, classic rock, R&B and soul, a little slap and will probably string it with tapewounds or flats. They come with SD basslines and most seem happy with that.
