Which pickups best for this tone?

How would you classify this tone, and which pickups would you think work best for this kind of tone? I have a mahogany body Ibanez bass and I was thinking about something like the q-tuners instead of the Barts I currently use. Then again it could be all in the strings.

Hammering notes makes for a difficult analysis. It sounds like something Barts would do, or even better, who makes pups for Fodera ?? - yes Aeros.
