Maybe this belongs in the pickup forum, but I'm considering buying a Nordy VJ5 in a P/J configuration or one of those new Sadowsky P/J 5's coming soon.
On Bass Central's site, they mention that the new Sadowsky P/J 5's pickups are "Pickups are custom made for Sadowsky by Nordstrand Pickups".

Does anyone know if these are 'proprietary designs' only available on the Sad's or is Carey going to be installing them on his own?
