Pickups for Fender Aerodyne Jazz

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking at replacing the Stock PUs on my CIJ Aerodyne Jazz. The J is too noisy and P is not bad but I'd like to get a more Vintage sound.
I'm considering Lindy Fralins or Nordstand (NP4 / NJ4SE).
Has anyone tried any of these on an Aerodyne?
What other PU's could give a nice Vintage sound to this Bass?
I'll probably upgrade the bridge as well...

Thanks for your comments.

Seymour Duncan SPB-1 has a good vintage P sound.

I use it with a hum-cancelling STK-J2 in my PJ. They work well together IMO.

I'll have to take a better look at the SD options...they sound ggreat and they'll be easier to find here in Spain. I'm having a very hard time finding any Nords or Fralins here.
