Pickups in Fender Custom Shop Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
This might be a stupid question to ask, but are the pickups in fender custom shop basses custom shop?
The reason I ask is because they (both NOS & relics) do not have the silver cs sticker on the bottom of their pickup bobbins. Also the pole-pieces look different too. They seem a little beveled. Whereas if you buy aftermarket fender "custom shop" pickups, they have the stickers and the pole-pieces are flat and vintage-like.

Any thoughts?

They are custom shop, I'm trying to remember the model, but they won a bass player editor's award back in the day.

I'll see if I can't find them. I have them in my Closet Classic Jazz. They Smoke!
