Pickups that retrofit a Steinberger?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking at pictures of Steinberger Spirits because I might get one soon, but the pickups look different than any I've seen. Are there any pickups that will retrofit a Spirit without needing to drill new holes or routing anything out?

SIXX, do a search, we have talked about Spirits extensively in the past eight or so years on here. They use a basic guitar humbucker pickup.

Exactly! There are tons of options really, not just EMG HB. I stuck some Stratocaster style pickups in mine.

So really Steinbeger pups are just guitar pups in a bass? That gives me even more options than if they were actually for bass.
