| pickups for streamer rockbass ??

hello there !
im currently using a Warwick Rockbass Streamer 5-string , with MEC pickups, Humbuckers (original).
Well, i've the bass has been my workhorse bass for 1 year and just so i felt that it's output level is very very low. ive heard from fellow users that the rockbass streamer 5-string has a relatively low output level.
The tone im looking for would be mellow and yet the pups produces high-mids to cut-through.
was thinking if there is any pickups to recommend ? my budget would be around $80USD.
