Any recommendations on reasonably priced piezo bridges (and the buffer/preamp) ?

FWIW:

never messed with them but seems there's a steady flow of them on ebay. I'd just google, narrow it down to ones of interest, them search to see if you can find feedback on those. You'll just have to dig some.

Seems Turner uses the SD Dtar units. I picked up one of Bob Wolstien's Pre-Highlander pre's the other day I thought may be one of Ricks, emailed him, and he emailed back stat informing me of as much. Probably never use it but seemed a good thing to have laying about in case I get into a mag/piezo mode for some wierd reason. That kind of stuff doesn't come available often. This is more mag piezo combo's as apposed to piezo bridge but I'd probably never used just a piezo - though I might if I'd looked into them more.

Bump!

My Surine has an ABM bridge with piezos, and it is run through a Bartolini piezo buffer. Sounds very good; recommended.

The above mentioned preamp sale says nothing about its input impedance, which matter a lot when it comes to piezo pickups.

You may listen to sound clips of the piezo pickups in my Surine here at the bottom of the page.

I've got a piezo bridge /preamp / hex13 kit. The piezo sound is very nice.

eutgard, your sound clips aren't working for me. Pity, as I'd like to hear the GraphTech stuff in action.
