PJ Bass wiring/ pick up help
 

I recently got an old P Bass body and I was wondering what to do with it. While browsing musicians friend i saw a PJ Bass for sale and thought that that was pretty cool so I decided to try and make one.

Ok so first point, i was thinking of wiring a master volume, and tone pot along with a 4-way switch so i could have the option of having the pups solo or in series or in parrallel. So if any one knows of a good schematic of this let me know cuz im still looking. Or if theres a better way to wire it up any suggestions are welcome.

Second, I bought my jazz pup already but im wondering what P bass pup will work well with it. I got a DiMarzio Ultra Jazz DP148. I bought it because it was what i was looking for and the price was right. I'm no expert on bass pups so if anyone has any suggestions for a good P-bass pup let me know.
