PJ set for fretless

I'm looking for a good PJ set for my fretless yammy, being that the stock pickups are microphonic as hell, and just all around uninpsiring. I'd prefer passive pickups, with a nice smooth, yet bright/punchy tone. Plenty of mwwwwaaahhh.Any suggestions?

I'll chime in briefly now...I am waiting on my Matt Pulcinella fretless which has P/J Basslines in it, and the bass is passive. I'll check back in after I play it for a while.

I recently installed a Dimarzio P/J set in my Yamaha RBX350. No modifications, perfect fit. Sounds great, very growly with -mids and bass for days, but it is not bright-sounding at all. I wouldn't call them smooth either, as they have an edge, but I like them like that. If you want clarity, I would looks at a different model/brand.

One plus is the the Dimarzio has adjustable pole pieces, which especially handy in budget basses, since they might not have good string balance acoustically.
