PJ wiring help

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a pj jazz bass with 2 stack knob controls.

I want to wire the bass so only the two volume controls on the stack knobs works by passing any tone controls.. anyone have any ideas on how to wire this?

I find the tone control is not of much use to me and is always on full.

Just remove the tone pots. Simple as that.

This will result in a slightly brighter tone btw.

Yes.

I would be tempted to say to just cut the capacitors out, but that might give you some scratching noise when the pots are turned.
