Please help me ID this weird pickup!

This weirdo single coil showed up in a Guild B301 I bought off eBay. Clearly it's not original to the bass, but I'm at a loss to ID it. Any ideas from the pickup experts? thanks!

reminds me of carvin guitar pickups... but i think they only have 12 poles across...
