Please help me recommend solid pick-ups...?

Ok guys help me out im getting my 1st set of replacement bass pickups... I just want some SOLID pickups for play all types of music i love jazz alot... Can anyone reccomend some "cookie cutter" basic solid pick ups i cant go wrong with? Price limit around 150-200

I have an ibanez sr300.. .will any bass pick ups fit any bass or it has to fit?(apologize for the lack of knowledge)

fender j bass wont work and p bass wont work it has to be about twice the width of the j bass pickups i recomend dimarzio or emg but emgs are expensive

once you find a pickup that fits, search youtube and basstesters to see how they sound, because what is a good solid pickup for one person may not be solid for you.

What kind of pick ups does it have? What year is your bass? If its an older one with the p/j set up I can recommend some awesome pick ups, I just need to know what I'm working with here. >.<

its a brand new ibanez sr300 from last year... I was thinking of getting the bartelinni Mk-1

i dont know any other pickups that would fit...

Bartolini MK4CBC dual coils wired in series. Solid and Fat!
get a bart NTMB pre to go with it and you have made an sr500 on steroids.
