Pole piece grounding for noise, buzz, hum, pops

Although pole piece grounding is discussed in the forums, it was not the first thing that popped up when I did much searching to get rid of buzzing when I touched the poles on a P-pickup I installed. It also decreased the overall noise of my circuit. I thought I would post this so people would be able to get to the link below without having to dig too deep. It works really well and the site has a good discussion.

Thanks for that- it clears up the reverse winding thing for me. Always thought simply reversing leads had the same effect; not true.
