Poll: Pickup cover colors for your Musicman bass

Sign in to disble this ad
There are 2 other polls for the other 2 main pickups...
P pickups Poll: Pickup cover colors for your Precision bass
J pickups Poll: Pickup cover colors for your Jazz bass

I am looking into something so just gauging interest...

If different colors were available what colors would you want?
Also would you want covers with no pole piece holes?
Please mark 4 or 5 string.

I know I probably left some colors out (like Gendale, Grue, Bleen, Squant, Octarine, and many shades of the colors I listed) so please specify below.

Thanks, Joe

Oh nooo...don't start confusing me with pickup colours....

black is a very good colour, it seems to go with most things, like black shoes or a black belt, or black trim on a car....

I like black...

if different colours were availabe, however, i think I'd choose....ummmm.....BLACK!....yeah black would be VERY cool...

Well it looks like I will be importing some vintage white covers for Jazz, Precision, and Musicman pickups. I will also have chrome and gold colored pickups later on but not for a few months. The 3rd most popular one is clear but I don't know if I will be able to get them (or if they would even look good with most pickups but I will look into it.

I now have musicman 4 string covers with no pole piece holes. They are in my trade thread in my signature. Have a look and see if there are any other parts you want. I do trades also.

Here is another picture showing the cover alonside some other MM4s. It shows 2 LPs, and actual musicman stingray pickup, and the cover to the right.

2nd pic - shows with holes also available. Shown alongside an actual musicman cover and the coils of a stingray and a rusty sterling pickup.

Thanks,
Joe
