Popping pups?

Sign in to disble this ad
My Peavey Fury (P) pops really loud whenever I play hard on the E and A string. The string is not hitting the pup. Any ideas?

The strings may be hitting but it happens too fast to see. Try lowering the PU a taste or put a strip of thin foam tape over the PU.
