| Is it possible to re-wire this combo into a head/cab?

(I just moved this from the "Amps" thread)
I have a Behringer BXL1800a Combo amp (BEHRINGER: BXL1800A) and I was wondering if there was a way to remove the amp and rewire it to work as a head, while re-wiring the speaker to be its own cabinet. Any thoughts?
Note: I have other amps and cabs I want to use these with, therefor the rewiring of both. It's not really a necessity, simply an idea for a summer project and I want to know if it's possible, and what I would do to start on it.
