Is it possible to refit Pickups?

Ok i've a Cort RB4 with a pair of Bartolini MK-1's on it. I don't like the sound but i think with some new pickups and/or a new pre it would rock. I've already decided to go with Audere 3ZB (gosh, who saw that coming ) and for the pickups i want a pair of Nordstrand Fat Stacks. Problem is, the MK-1's and Fat Stacks are two different sizes. The MK-1 are 34mm x 108mm while the Fat stacks are 32mm x 100mm. They are both built for 19mm string spacing so no problems there. But, is there anyway to get the Fat Stacks into my RB4 without doing some insane bass surgery?

The Fat Stacks are smaller, so no surgery is needed. You will have a small gap around the pickups though.
