Possible replacement for Lakland pickups...

in my Daryl Jones 5 string. I do love the sound of the stock ones. Still, I would like to try something else. I tend to customize things. Thinking of either Barts, Lindy Fralins, or Nordstrands in no order. Chi sonics are also a possibility. FWIW, I have zero interest in adding a preamp.
Looking for a more aggressive growl from the bridge and a little more weight from the neck and when blended together.
Suggestions?.

Is that the model that has the lipstick style pickups? If so, you might check out Kent Armstrong pickups. I saw some like that on his website yesterday.

regular looking jazz pickups. I am pretty sure they are Lakland pups. They sound great, just looking for a little more growl.

My Lakland has Aeros in it and has plenty of growl. They might give you what you're looking for.
