| pot wiring = distortion?

Ive noticed a low level of distortion when playing through several different amps- I can only assume its my bass as the distortion is there w/ and w/out effects/preamps.
The distortion is there when I solo my neck pickup and when I solo my bridge pickup and its definitely still there when both are on at full volume
could this be a problem with how the pups are soldered to the pots?
maybe I'm just playing through s***ty amps? |
