Pots and capacitors

I plan on putting Nordy vj4's into a new project i have lined up my "all passive jazz" and im just wondering about pots and capacitors??

what ones are i supposed to use and which are best??

i think i read somewhere 250k pots and a .47mF capacitor??

and what brand pots would be the best to use?? cts over fender etc??

Standard jazz bass configuration is 250K's and a 0.047uF cap.

You may find this helpful:

What effect does 1 meg pot have? Also, audio vs. linear

I'd go with CTS pots.
