Pot's help

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an old p-bass that I want to get up and running, have the dimarzio dp122's and all the hardware ready to go. Question is Im thinking of replacing the volume and tone pots and need to know what do I look for? I notice there are many choices with different k ratings, but what is best? Or does it even make a difference?

lots of good threads around here about that stuff.

250k is normal fender, and may be a little dark for those humbucker dimarzios.

i recommend 500k, linear taper for volume and audio taper for tone.
