I kinda fell in love with the Power Bug (Lithium - long life 9v) since I found a couple in the battery cavities of my Ritter Roya a few years back... I think Jens was testing them & shipping instruments with them... But they disappeared from the market...

I switched to the Ultralife Lithium 9v versions (essentially the same cells in an aluminum housing)...

Recently I discovered:
U9VL / U9VL-FP - NSN 6135-01-369-9792 : 9-Volt Batteries - Ultralife Battery & Energy Products | Ultralife Corporation
plastic housing version - the theory behind the Power Bug's plastic case was to reduce or avoid "noise" in active musical instrument circuits, medical & wireless applications - not sure if the science adds up?

Anyway - I still like these babies & the longer life is a huge bonus in some of my active basses that don't have easy access to the battery compartment...

Anybody have any Good or Bad experiences with Lithium 9v's?

I tried durecell and energizer lithium 9 volts yrs ago. They did not have enough longer life to justify their cost. I just use regular durecell 9volts now & get good 6 plus months use per battery.
