Coincidence that I just installed today the JZ3 today in my 75 Squier VM. I've only played around with it for a little while and all I can say is WOW! What an improvement and great range of tones that I now have. I was thinking about changing pickups but I think I'll hang for while and get comfortable with my new pre. I might not need anything else.
