Pre-amp question?

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently installed Bartolini J Bass 9J1 pups in my Squier FVM Fretless, they sound great. But, I would like a little more control over the sound from the bass itself. I'm thinking of installing a new pre-amp in the bass, what would go into the control cavity of the Squier J-Bass?

www.audereaudio.com makes preamps that drop straight in, no drilling or soldering required. And they sound wonderful to boot.
