pre and pup help

Alright, i am ordering a new custom bass, and im going to have a bit of cash left over...soooo ive decided to beef up my customshop reggie hamilton 5 as ive had some recent issues with the preamp. I want to change it from a p/j to a j/j. i want at least this

3 band
separate volume or at least volume blend
active passive switch
18 volt, not a priority though

I really want a fodera set up with antiquity II's, but i dont think i can get a pre other then the floor and it doesnt look like i can wire that in. Alleva Coppolo is another choice that ive played and really like the tone of.

i need suggestions for pups and pre's , keep in mind theres a small cavity to fit it in, basicall right behind a deluxe style 4 knob jazz plate. The tone needs to be versitle as i play many different genres, but my main tone is that of stuart zender, kai eckhardt, and richard bona.

thanks for any insight.

FWIW:

don't know the bass but sounds like the typical Fender setup so you're stuck with what fits - retro, Audere, etc. Personally if I thought I wanted Fodera that's what I'd buy since I'd rather have an outboard unit myself anyway.

I had antiquity II pups and didn't find them to suite my needs but lots of guys do.

Bump
