pre recommendations for Bart DL5CBC (5str MM style)

I have a bass with a single Bartolini Dual Coil Humbucking Pickup 4 Conductor - the DL5CBC (its a 5 string MM style) and need some advice.

I currently have it matched with a Bartolini NTBT and would like something else. I find this pre is quite 'hissy' and a bit lifeless. Looking for something a little more agressive/modern 'flea' sounding. I would like an active/passive option but is not a must.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

maybe this pickup model is too obscure for a recommendation, how about does anyone have any bartolini MM style pickup in a bass, what pre are you using that's not a bartolini pre?
