Preamp Aguilar

Hi, my name is Carol, I'm brasilian and I don't speak english very well...but I'll try.
I've a big problem. I have a WOOD (brasilian Lutheir) bass with pickup EMG 45J (active) and I want install a preamp Aguilar OBP 3. Someone know if is compatible? Or the preamp Aguilar is only for passive pickups?

Yes, it is compatible - they are on many high-end Spector basses with active EMGs.
