Preamp Q: 5 knobs, 1 switch

I am looking for a new preamp for my 7'string bass. There is currently something wrong with the wiring in my existing preamp. Anyways I have 2 pickups. There are 5 knobs and one switch. I was looking for; master volume, pickup blend, bass, mid, and treble, and the switch would be for active passive. Can anybody recommend me some preamp ideas? I am not looking for stacked knobs.

Audere or Aguilar would be wonderful choices.

Nordstrand 3B-5a or Glockenklang 3 Band-EQ

None of those seem to have the active passive as a switch. I'd rather have the switch as active passive control versus a push pull master volume

Audere and Aguilar most certainly do. I have two of each, all with A/P switches. As with any preamp, it's all in how you configure it.

You have to wire them the way you want.

You limit your choices a bit if you're looking for something pre-wired just the way you want it. If you can do your own soldering (or have somebody local who can), then your choices are nearly limitless. There are lots of great preamps on the market now, so read some reviews!
