Preamp voltage & pickup

Hi & happy new year to all over the world!
I have a custom Odyssey bass with 2 sopbars Bartolini.
The preamp of my bass uses 2X9V batteries.
So I'm thinking to change the pickups with Nordstand or Delano (I have not decide yet).
Does the voltage of the preamp affect the pickup or it doesn't matter?
I mean if the voltage of the preamp should be compatible with the pickup or I can use any kind of pickup?

The pickups are passive, it doesn't matter.

So if I choose to put active pickups what should I attend?

Most active pickups will provide more headroom with an 18V power source. The tradeoff is increased current consumption, but that is not an issue considering the current draw is absurdly low compared with the capacity of the average battery.
