Very clear, extended, sound, and relatively high output.

Q-Tuner Review with Bartolini Comparison Samples

From what I understand, a new simplified version should be available in 2013.

I own a pair Mike. The preamp demo clip currently in my sig features that bass. Not much to say that isn't already in the long thread, especially since they're out of production and the soon to be new ones will likely be different.

I have a custom pickup made like Q-tuner. Neodymium magnets, transformer core plate blade in sidewinder style humbucker. Very clear and balanced sound. I like it.

Clean, clear, transparent.
