The stock pickup is still in the bridge pickup location. When I roll both volume pots full up and the tone full up, it sounds like playing through a cardboard box. Absolutely no bottom end and quiet. Yet, when roll either the neck or the bridge back just the tinest bit, there is a massive increase in volume output and the low end returns. Is there a wiring issue happening here? I used to run both volume pots full on when both were stock pickups with no problem? I haven't yet looked at how the tech wired it as i was waiting to get some feedback from here. Thanks.

I used to use them in my P Lyte, and the only bridge pickup out of the 3 I tried that worked with it was a QP J pickup.

Best of luck

"No bottom end and quiet" are not in a QP's vocabulary.

So maybe there was too much range from that particular pot. The Phase thing actually makes more sense so try it first. Generally the QP's pair nicely with 500 K pots | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
