removing the logo from pickups
hi folks. i just tried a search from my phone app and cant find anything on this although i'm sure theres something on it. my bass is starting to look like a book with all this semour duncan, bass lines, full contact hardware etc. a bit i dont mind ie fender BUT i wonder if anyone can tell me how to get the basslines logo off my pickups. i mean i know what they are and dont need to be reminded every time i look at it.
thanks in advance.

You could simply sand it off with some extra fine sandpaper or even a ScotchBrite pad.

thats crossed my mind as has polishing the thing off. i just wondered if someone has found some secret liquid that takes it off with a wipe. i've tried a couple of fluids on an earlier set of these pickups and melted the plastic and have had to sand them down to within a fraction of their thickness and i cant for the life of me remember what the fluid was so i'me afraid to try it again unless i know it wont harm the finish. thanks for your reply.
