I looked around for replacement pickups but couldn't find any that we're the right size. Even guitar size humbuckers were slightly off. Would have had to order a custom pg to go that route.

Also didn't want to spend money on a new preamp while I had the original one just sitting there. Not really sure why smaller size makes any difference when I already have the worlds largest control cavity to play with.

In the future I may play around with some other preamp models (ACG and Aguilar stand out), but for now I'm happy again.
