Ric pick-up cover removed, but....

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys I just removed the pick-up cover on my ric 4003. I like the sound I get from it but I have a problem. With it gone there is alot of space exposed and when i pluck the strings my fingers hit the sharp corners of the pick up frame. Does anyone know if there is a frame ric makes that will let me put it on and close the gap around the pick-up? Thanks.

Welcome to the one downside of owning a Rick.

Rick doesn't have the part you want, but Pickguardian makes one that'll do the job: http://www.pickguardian.com/pickguar...gePUPlate.html

Yea, I saw that web page and maybe that is the way to go. I just wish they had them in chrome. Thanks for your help, Dano.

The "Mirrored Plexi" passes reasonably well for chrome, to my eyes...
