seymour duncan quarter pounder p/u

I'm thinking about putting these in a old p bass I have while I got it down putting a new neck on it.I've never used them was just wondering what you all thought about them.

I like them. Keep them low away from the strings if you want to tame the aggressive nature of the QP. That gives me a vintage flavor with a little more girth than one of the typical vintage wound pickups.

I read this and with advise from Johnson I lowered my Jazz 1/4 pounders and it sound awesome.I kept moving up and down for an half hour or so playing scales up and down the neck and found my sweet spot.

good pickups. i got em in my Matt Freeman squier pbass. Tons of low end! I like em.

come to think of it, i recently put up a demo of my pbass when it had spb3's with d'addario chromes. a few DI samples of finger/pick/slap on a couple riffs with different tone settings.
