Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders + Aguilar OBP-3 Sound Clip!

Hello folks, I recorded this soundclip quickly with MIM Fender Jazz 5 strings from a friend that asked me to install Seymour Duncans Quarter Pounders and Aguilar OBP-3 SK/PP in it... this is a raw recording, no modifications, no EQ, in order to hear the pure sound

(Both Pickups - Bass 65% - Mid flat - Treble 65%)

I thought this may be usefull, for some one looking at this pickups and preamp specifically. Let Me know what you think

That sounds great. Aguilar makes some awesome sounding preamps, and the aggressiveness it lends to the QP's is making them sound quite impressive. I wonder how much mids you can add to the sound though; QP's seem to be already very hot in the low. I always found the QP's to sound awesome direct and then loose that magic through colored bass cabinets like a 410. The extra lows and 10's didn't match up; and the less mids made the tone sound very one dimensional out of a bass cabinet. However direct; wow.
