Status of Bartolini?

Hi,
I had a custom bass made and the pickups are exclusively made by Bartolini. The bass has been finished for a long time now (almost a year), but they are still waiting on the pickups. Is there something going on with their company or some kind of shortage I'm not aware of? Thanks!

Im running into the same problem. I bought a matching set of pickups on Evilbay and one of them was on backorder. The seller was best BBgear and I told them I'd wait when they emailed me. It took about two months and I finally got it in the mail. Now I try to order a specific Bart preamp from the same place and its out of stock. They wouldnt even let me prepay for it because they have no way of telling when it will come in.
