Stingray Preamp in a J-Bass???

Sign in to disble this ad
I've got a "frankenstein" J-Bass I built, it currently has EMGs in it, and a friend of mine gave me a Stingray 3-band preamp.

Can I wire these up to it without any issues? has anyone tried this?

help, please?

I'm gonna add a 3-way switch.....no problem there.

I'm just not sure if the EMGs will be compatable though.

i think you just need to slit wire in the emgs to the battery, not exactly sure on wich wires go where though.

As long as you have a 25K volume pot and wire the emg's to the battery it will work fine.

Send a message via ICQ to Ach
emg's has very hi output while MM pickup is midoutput by itself, so you might face distiortions
