Strange buzz... doesn't seem to be earthing problem.

Hey everyone,

At the moment I'm using a J&D Luthiers JD-21005 bass and I'm getting a high pitched buzz around 4k+ (It's louder than the signal when I have the treble knob all the way up). It's weird because if I sit it in one specific position it disappears by about 90%, but as soon as I turn it on it's side or even move it a tiny amount it comes back. Turning the treble knob all the way down eliminates most of the buzz but drains any clarity that the signal might have.

I've tried playing in different rooms and through different amps but I can't get rid of it and all of my other bass and guitars have no buzz at all. I tried keeping it in the "sweet spot" while playing but it's impossible.

Any suggestions?

Cheers.
