Strange noise after new wiring harness

Ok,

I just put in a standard P bass wiring harness that I ordered from bayoucables. Pretty straightforward. When plugged in and playing, I get a strange noise, almost like a reverb effect with each note. Volume knob level doesn't affect the noise, it is present at any volume. I just wanted to get some ideas on things to check out, or if anyone had ever had a problem similar to this. I'd say to inspect the wiring harness connection by connection - and compare to a wiring diagram. You should contact Bayou FIRST to see how they can help.
