The strange popping sound....

Sign in to disble this ad
My Spector Legend 4 (P/J) has been making a pooping sound as if the cable is being pulled out of the bass, of course its not. This only happens when I move around a lot at practice or while playing a gig. My guess is that theres something messed up with the wiring, however Ive looked a bit and havent found any bare wires. So Im thinking either the output is screwed up somehow or that the battery plugin is messed up. Or I could be an idiot and its just the cable, but I havent known Monsters to eff up that often.
Any advice?
Also, does anyone know where to find a wiring guide for Spectors? Their website doesnt have em.
Thanks!

Try emailing them. If they're anything like fender, they've got all their wiring diagrams and spec sheets in electronic formats they can send you.

haha must have been a typo, although it does make me sound like s### live!
I did some more research and found that the inside of my output looks as if its missing a piece of metal that im guessing helps hold the cable in. It has 2 metal strips and an empty slot that looks like it should hold a 3rd.
HELP!
